THE ROLE

Are you an experienced engineer looking for a role where your skills truly matter? This is your chance to be part of a small, dedicated team that keeps our factory running smoothly and drives continuous improvement.

We are looking for someone hands-on, proactive, and passionate about engineering to help us maintain and enhance our electrical and mechanical systems. No two days are the same - you will tackle everything from breakdowns and fault-finding to supporting exciting new investment projects.

Youwill participate in factory improvement activities by working closelywith both engineering and production colleagues, taking ownership ofequipment areas for evaluation and contribute to our projectsfrom initial design to commissioning.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Electrical installation or maintenance experience
  • Automated machinery experience
  • Welding, fabrication, pipework: stainless tig experience would be an advantage
  • Refrigeration/ice machine experience: cat 1 f-gas would be an advantage
  • General building fabric maintenance

However, all candidates with an electrical or mechanical background will be considered.

SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Be a good team player and have the ability to work independently when required
  • Inter-personal and excellent communication skills
  • Have completed a modern or trade apprenticeship in a relevant field
  • Have excellent knowledge of health and safety requirements
  • Be a self-starter, and be able to follow instructions
  • Full UK driving licence.

The successful candidate will be provided with a Company van.
