We are seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join our Maintenance and Engineering team to provide effective maintenance support to the Production team, maintaining and repairing the equipment, machinery, and tools used in the factory.
This is a full-time night shift role, working Sunday to Thursday.
Role Requirements
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on all critical production equipment and systems post-production.
- Conduct in-depth inspections and diagnostics to identify potential mechanical, electrical, or automation issues.
- Execute repairs, replacements, and calibrations on machinery post-production.
- Work from maintenance logs, schematics, and SOPs to address known or reported issues.
- Assist in system upgrades, installations, and machinery overhauls without disrupting production schedules.
- Conduct routine proactive start-up checks on all critical machinery prior to production start to ensure equipment readiness and minimize delays.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, logs, and reports for day-shift review.
- Coordinate with the day shift maintenance and production teams for handovers and issue resolution.
- Contribute to machinery compliance with relevant health and safety legislation, as well as site food hygiene and safety requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organized maintenance area and workshop.
- Perform other duties as required by management and within the post holder's competency.
