Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
Location: Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire
Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off - Days & Nights
Salary: Up to £53,000 per annum

Our client, a well-established food production company, is on the lookout for an engineer to join their team and ensure their operations run smoothly.
The Role
As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you'll be responsible for maintaining and repairing high-performance production equipment, ensuring maximum efficiency. Your day-to-day will include:
·Performing both electrical and mechanical maintenance to keep machinery operating at its best.
·Diagnosing faults, particularly with PLC systems, and resolving them quickly.
·Working with a variety of systems, including pneumatics, hydraulics, pumps, valves, ovens, mixers, pressure systems, and refrigeration.
·Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to reduce downtime and prevent breakdowns.
·Collaborating with production teams to ensure smooth and uninterrupted operations.
What You'll Need
To thrive in this role, you'll need:
·A solid background in electrical and mechanical maintenance, ideally in a food production or manufacturing environment.
·Experience with PLC systems and a strong understanding of continuous improvement and PPM practices.
·Qualifications such as a BTEC/ONC in electrical engineering or a time-served apprenticeship/HNC in electrical, mechanical, or production maintenance engineering.
·A proactive attitude, able to quickly identify and resolve faults to minimise production downtime.
