Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is recruiting a Junior Maintenance Engineer in Stowmarket. The role involves maintaining and operating machines on the production line, producing insulated panels for commercial projects, and ensuring high-quality output.

You'll detect and repair faults, perform part replacements and welding, and contribute to environmental compliance. This is a days-based, Monday-Friday position with overtime to increase earnings.

Qualifications

• Maintenance engineering experience in production/manufacturing environments.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic faults.
• Willingness to work on a Monday-Friday days-based schedule.

Responsibilities

• Detect and repair mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic faults
• Preform part replacement, adjustments and welding repairs when needed
• Record maintenance activities and ensure workplace safety
• Support production lines
• Ensure compliance with environmental requirements and company environmental policies and contribute to the management of waste, energy and other resources
• Coordinate with supply chains, quality and external service company's
