Job summary

Almac Group in Craigavon is seeking Maintenance Engineers (Mechanical or Electrical) to join the Almac Pharma Services facility. This pool is for current and future vacancies; you will work on planned and unplanned maintenance, support installation and commissioning of new equipment, and ensure timely uptime in a cGMP environment.

Ideal candidates will hold City & Guilds Level 3 and have post-apprenticeship maintenance experience; experience in food/pharma packaging is helpful.

Qualifications

• Minimum City & Guilds Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Installation or equivalent qualification.
• Post-apprenticeship practical experience in industrial maintenance including installation of production equipment.
• Experience in food or pharmaceutical industry, packaging and sealing equipment beneficial.
• Eligible to work in the UK or valid UK visa/work permit with no restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Planned and unplanned maintenance of production equipment and plant.
• Support installation and commissioning of new process equipment.
• Maintain stock levels of replacement parts.
• Complete documentation and maintenance reports.
• Collaborate with production staff to troubleshoot and resolve problems quickly.
