Maintenance Engineer Ashford, Kent

Salary: Up to £48,000
Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours (no nights)

The Role

As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you\'ll play a key role in keeping a fast-paced packaging environment running smoothly. You\'ll handle both planned and reactive maintenance, problem-solve under pressure, and ensure high standards of safety and reliability. This Maintenance Engineer role offers variety, responsibility, and excellent support.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM)
• Respond quickly to breakdowns and troubleshoot effectively
• Perform electrical and/or mechanical fault finding and repairs
• Work safely and in line with H&S regulations
• Support continuous improvement and efficiency initiatives as a proactive Maintenance Engineer

What We\'re Looking For

• Mechanical or Electrical qualification / apprenticeship
• Solid hands-on experience maintaining machinery in a manufacturing environment
• Multi-skilled background (both electrical and mechanical preferred)
