Maintenance Engineer (Manufacturing)
£48,000 - £50,000 (OTE £53,000) + Monday to Friday + Days Only + 33 days holiday + Company Bonuses

Are you a Maintenance Engineer with a manufacturing background looking to advance into a senior role, mentoring junior engineers and becoming the go-to engineer on site?

This role involves performing planned and reactive maintenance on machinery such as moulding equipment, ovens, CNC systems, and finishing tools. You will also contribute to site upkeep and participate in projects like robotic installations and equipment upgrades.

Our client, a specialist in rotational moulding with over 45 years of experience, delivers high-quality, custom plastic components for industries including automotive, medical, and industrial equipment. They are known for their end-to-end capabilities, from design to final assembly, emphasizing precision, innovation, and tailored solutions.

This position offers a supervisory, days-based schedule (Monday to Friday) with responsibilities and autonomy for repairs.

The Role:

• Performing planned and reactive maintenance on automated machinery such as injection moulding and machine tools
• Tasks including welding, fault finding, wiring, and installing
• Funded training to obtain Gas certification
• Minimal call-outs, approximately twice a month between 6 pm-10 pm
• Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 4:00 pm (39 hours)

The Person:

• Maintenance Engineer or similar
• Background in manufacturing
• Electrical qualifications such as 17th/18th edition, NVQ, HNC, or HND
