This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced, large-scale manufacturing facility where you will play a vital role in maintaining operational efficiency.

Job Information

The role primarily involves reactive and preventative maintenance with a mechanical bias, although multi-skilled candidates are encouraged to apply. The client is open to candidates from a variety of industrial backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out reactive and preventative maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment across the facility.
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs promptly to minimise downtime.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify and resolve potential issues before they escalate.
• Work closely with production teams to support continuous improvement and ensure equipment reliability.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and report on completed work.
• Assist with installation and commissioning of new machinery or equipment as required.
• Adhere to health and safety policies, ensuring a safe working environment at all times.

Key Requirements

• Proven experience in a maintenance engineering role, preferably within a manufacturing, Engineering, plastics or FMCG environment.
• Mechanical bias preferred; however, multi-skilled engineers with electrical knowledge are also welcomed.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills and a proactive approach.
• Relevant engineering qualifications or apprenticeships desirable.
