Job summary

Amcor in Norwich is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to provide timely breakdown response, diagnose faults and carry out repairs across mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical and electronic systems on injection moulding machinery.

You will work with the Senior Maintenance Engineers and production teams to install and set up new equipment for projects, while maintaining high safety standards and COSHH compliance.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical and Electrical engineering.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience with manufacturing equipment and machinery, including pneumatics and hydraulics.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
• Safety awareness and COSHH understanding.
• Team player with good attention to detail and decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Respond to breakdowns and diagnose faults on machinery.
• Perform mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical and electronic repairs.
• Ensure safety standards and isolate machinery when needed.
• Collaborate with senior maintenance engineers, production and design teams.
• Install and set up new equipment for projects and other improvements.
