Salary: £40,000 £42,000 DOE + 28 Days Holiday +
Shifts: 2 Days (6am 6pm), 2 Days (12pm 12am), 4 Days Off
Type: Full-Time Permanent

A leading food production company based in West Wales is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their well-established maintenance team. You ll play a key role in ensuring smooth operation of essential machinery and reducing downtime through planned and reactive maintenance.

This is a varied, hands-on role ideal for someone with a mechanical bias and solid electrical competency, looking for job stability and long-term development.

Role Overview:
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and unplanned breakdown repairs

  • Diagnose and repair faults on a range of electrical and mechanical systems

  • Work with key production equipment including:

    • Packaging machines

    • Conveyors

    • Washers

    • Weighing systems

  • Prioritise workloads effectively in a fast-moving, high-demand environment

  • Ensure all work complies with health & safety and company standards

What We re Looking For:
  • Experience in a manufacturing or food production environment

  • Strong mechanical background (approx. 70%) with basic electrical knowledge

  • Engineering qualifications (mechanical/electrical or multi-skilled)

  • Proactive attitude with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team

  • Flexible and reliable, with a strong focus on problem-solving and equipment reliability
