Job Description:

We’re currently seeking a Maintenance Engineer to provide effective maintenance, repair and servicing of plant, building and equipment. Working with in our inhouse Engineering team you will report to the Senior Engineer but also be a key part of the wider plant team. The successful candidate will have some experience in mechanical engineering, but with a stronger bias to electrical engineering.

Will have completed an engineering apprenticeship or similar level 3 qualifications.

In this role you will:

  • Attend all mechanical, electrical, plant, equipment and building problems
  • Carry out safety tests as required
  • Start up and shut down processing plant, equipment and facilities
  • Undertake a programme of planned preventative maintenance ensuring optimum use and minimum downtime
  • Carry out duties as laid down in BS EN ISO 9001: 2000 / 14001 Local Working Instructions and Company Operations Manual which may be updated from time to time.
  • Support with building maintenance and other Ad hoc times
  • Any other ad hoc tasks.
  • Monday to Friday, with one Saturday morning per month For PPM tasks
  • Main work pattern Monday to Thursday 07:00 to 15:30, 07:00 to 14:00 on a Friday
