Job Description:
  • Position: Maintenance Engineer
  • Hourly Rate: £17.94- £20.50 per hour depending on experience
  • Location: Brighton
  • Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-4pm or 9am- 5pm (alternative/flexible hours considered)

We are recruiting for a successful and well-established manufacturing and food production business based on the outskirts of Brighton for a maintenance engineer. This is a temporary full-time position working within a factory-based environment.

As a maintenance engineer, you will work alongside the Senior Engineer to maintain workplace equipment, ensuring smooth and productive operations. Previous experience with food filling and packing lines is preferable; the role also involves occasional welding, so experience with welding is beneficial.

Duties will include:

  • Completing scheduled maintenance work and responding to ad-hoc machinery breakdowns.
  • Maintaining the parts inventory.
