Job summary

The Compleat Food Group is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to ensure reliable operation of packaging and process equipment at our Clitheroe sites. You will perform reactive and preventative maintenance, troubleshoot faults and drive improvements to minimise downtime.

Working 3 on 3 off with day 6am–6pm and night 6pm–6am, you will collaborate with production teams and lead projects while maintaining rigorous safety standards.

Qualifications

• Relevant Industry Qualification such as HNC/ONC/NVQ in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience in a manufacturing, production or FMCG environment.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Comply with Health & Safety policies, procedures and best practices.
• Perform reactive and proactive maintenance on packaging and process equipment.
• Conduct planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive tasks.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment faults to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with Line Leaders and Production teams to optimize efficiency.
• Lead maintenance and continuous improvement projects on site.
