Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment are seeking a Maintenance Engineer for a manufacturing FMCG environment in Lutterworth. You will service production machinery, automated conveyors and electrical control panels, conducting pre-planned maintenance and occasional breakdown work.

On offer is a £48,000–£50,000 salary with training, qualifications, overtime and a Monday-to-Friday pattern. The role includes a generous pension and benefits, and a company focused on training to upskill you.

Qualifications

• Maintenance engineer with experience in production/manufacturing facilities.
• Skilled in servicing automated machinery, conveyors and electrical panels.
• Experience with pre-planned maintenance, facilities upkeep and on-call support.
• Commutable to Lutterworth; flexible to shift pattern.

Responsibilities

• Pre-planned maintenance and troubleshooting
• Assisting with facilities maintenance
• Overseeing on-site contractors
• Responding to breakdowns and emergency calls
• Participating in on-call rota (1 in 4)
• Working pattern: 6:00–14:15 / 14:00–22:45
