Job description
Overview

Maintenance Engineer (Facilities) – Reading

£40,000 PA | 8:30am - 17:00pm | Monday to Friday | Permanent Position

Responsibilities
  • Perform preventative and reactive maintenance across multiple sites
  • Diagnose and repair faults in electrical, plumbing and mechanical systems
  • Conduct routine inspections and safety checks
  • Support facility upgrades, refurbishments, and installations
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations
  • Liaise with contractors and suppliers when needed
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and management
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in a residential or commercial setting
  • IPAF and PASMA
  • City & Guilds 2382 - 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • City & Guilds 236 / 2360 / 2365 / 2000 / 2330 / 2397 or equivalent EAL electrical qualification
  • City & Guilds 2391 or 2394 / 2395 or EAL equivalent
  • City & Guilds 2377 - Portable Appliance Testing
  • Clear DBS Check
  • Strong knowledge of statutory testing
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
  • Full UK driving licence (to travel between sites)
