Job Description:

Number of opportunities available for Electrical or Mechanical Maintenance Engineers to join our global client that designs, manufactures, and delivers world-class steel forgings and castings.

Our client has already engaged in delivering a wide range of high-profile projects and has recently been awarded another major contract. They are looking to add several Electrical or Mechanical Maintenance Engineers on a 3-month+ contract.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a global business that has established Sheffield’s reputation as a steel-making powerhouse.

Duties include:

• Maintenance, fault finding, and repair of complex PLC-controlled electrical machinery.
• Working on supply and distribution systems.
• Electrical modifications to existing machinery to improve production processes.
• Preventive Planned Maintenance (PPM).
• Handling breakdowns, upgrades, and safety checks.
• Electrical installation tasks.

We are keen to speak to Electrical or Mechanical Maintenance Engineers who:

• Are apprentice trained with City and Guilds/NVQ qualifications.
• Are maintenance electricians.
• Have heavy industry experience.
• Have a maintenance history with foundry plant and equipment.
