Job summary

UPS is seeking a Maintenance Engineer in Tamworth to maintain equipment at package handling facilities. You will inspect, troubleshoot, adjust and replace electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and welding equipment, and perform preventive maintenance on conveyors and power industrial systems.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical engineering preferred.
• Electrical troubleshooting and motor control knowledge.
• Proficiency in reading electrical diagrams and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Respond to internal customers.
• Respond to facility alarms and emergencies.
• Troubleshoot problems that arise within the sortation system and facility.
• Perform preventative maintenance.
