Job summary

Baxter Thetford is seeking a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer to perform plant-wide reactive and proactive maintenance. You will support new installations and engineering projects, working in a fast-paced team focused on saving and sustaining lives. Shifts are 06:00-18:00 and 18:00-06:00 with overtime at premium rates.

We offer 25 days leave, pension, healthcare, and extensive training in robotics and safety. This is a hands-on role within a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• HNC or equivalent in electrical and mechanical engineering.
• High degree of competency in electrical and mechanical fault finding, schematics wiring and circuitry.
• Experience with automation and robotics.
• Good level knowledge of electrical Safety, CCT and controllers.
• Good level Mechanical knowledge and overall engineering understanding in a highly regulated manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Work as part of a wider team but also show the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on production equipment.
• Raise corrective and reactive maintenance dockets on Maximo.
• Assist and support queries to identify improvements to the stores system.
• Review planned and preventative maintenance procedures and suggest improvements.
• Advance issue's when necessary, in a timely manner.
• Identify areas for improvement across site.
• Deliver all activities at the standards required by GMP.
