Job description

Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias )
- 46,000/annum plus overtime and holiday pension

Maintenance Engineer

Plus, Overtime on offer -rate time and half.
30 days annual leave.
The role
Mechanical and electrical maintenance -ideally

  • Carry out electrical and mechanical fault finding and repair.
  • Heavy plant machinery equipment.
  • Plan and complete preventative maintenance activities using skill set - Request parts, materials and labour support when required.
  • Using manual machine tools and general fabrication skills.
  • Carry out installation, modification and relocation of plant and equipment.
  • Contractor organisation and management in line with current HSE and company procedures.
  • Arrange and implement legislative inspections and any remedial working following the inspections.


QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
Timed served with relevant recognised qualifications; BTec, City and Guilds, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.

  • Experience on working on pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
  • Experience of working on single and 3-phase electrical circuits
  • Experience of working within a fast-moving production environment.

This is a genuinely exciting and rewarding role that will see you working across all aspects of the site carrying out electrical, mechanical, fabric repairs/maintenance as required. You will have five years minimum experience with a demonstrable multi-skilled background showing reactive, planned maintenance and organisational skills
