This role involves maintaining and repairing blown film extrusion and conversion machinery for a polythene bag manufacturer. The ideal candidate will have attended an Industrial Electrical Course and be certified to the 17th edition electrical course.
The position is for a day shift (7am - 7pm), Monday to Friday, and requires living in the West London area.
Responsibilities include: Maintenance and repair of extrusion and conversion machinery; potential to be trained as an operator for extrusion/conversion machines.
Skills/Knowledge: Remove, install & set up inverters; read electrical diagrams; fault find electrical circuits; understand AC/DC motor control and tension control systems; communicate effectively and work independently or as part of a team.
Salary & Benefits: Hourly rate approximately £7.50-£10.00 based on experience, totaling £24,000-£28,000 annually. After 6 months, eligibility for a contributory pension scheme.
Education and Experience: Diploma/certificate or engineering apprenticeship with electrical bias, including 17th edition qualification. Hands-on experience with extrusion & conversion machinery maintenance is advantageous but not necessary.
