About The Role

Job Purpose

As part of a maintenance team, you will execute planned and reactive maintenance, and minor projects on campus production equipment, including the Biogas facility, following campus rules and procedures.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
• Maintain product safety and quality standards
• Perform maintenance on all production equipment, recording findings in the CMMS
• Troubleshoot and implement improvements to prevent recurrence of issues
• Communicate effectively with all personnel and provide clear handovers
• Analyze equipment condition and efficiency, identifying issues and improvements
• Manage breakdowns to minimize downtime and find root causes
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Complete safety and technical training for personal development

Additional Responsibilities

• Participate in emergency response team
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
• Apply automation, mechanical, or electrical isolations and inhibits
• Update CMMS data and documentation
• Engage in ongoing improvement projects
• Manage contractor and vendor work scopes
• Attend meetings and support packaging and brewing teams

About You

• Time-served apprenticeship or equivalent in engineering
• 3-5 years in FMCG maintenance or similar role
• Fluent English communication skills
• Proficient with PC and Microsoft Office
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to read technical drawings
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Willing to work 12-hour shifts on a 4-day cycle
