Job summary

Yolk Recruitment Ltd is recruiting a Maintenance Engineer for a large, established manufacturing site in the Launceston area. This days-based role runs 5:00am–2:00pm, offering early finishes and no night shifts, with an optional 1 in 4 call-out rota and overtime on callouts.

The role involves electrical and mechanical fault-finding, planned maintenance, and repairs across a wide range of production equipment to keep the site running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Apprentice-trained or Level 3 engineering qualification.
• Hands-on maintenance and fault-finding experience.
• Experience across both electrical and mechanical disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Electrical and mechanical fault-finding across production and processing machinery.
• Respond to breakdowns and bring equipment back to production safely.
• Carry out planned and preventative maintenance on a variety of equipment.
• Identify recurring faults and support reliability improvements.
• Participate in a 1 in 4 call-out rota.
