Overview

Salary: £43,000 - £45,000/annum

Job Details

Day shift, Monday to Friday, hours to be discussed at interview.

Must be multi-skilled (70% electrical, 30% mechanical)

Responsible to: Engineering Manager (or Production Manager in their absence)

Responsible for: Providing a safe and healthy working environment, maintaining plant assets, and repairing breakdowns.

Purpose of Role

To maintain company assets to the highest standards, ensure safe and efficient repairs, and support production engineering needs.

Key Responsibilities

1. Production: Complete PPMs as scheduled, respond promptly to breakdowns, optimize usage of consumables.
2. Health and Safety: Follow SWPs, report issues, use PPE correctly, maintain high standards of housekeeping.
3. Communication: Manage shift changeovers, communicate issues and spares needs, report to management.
4. Personnel: Promote company values, report incidents, foster effective communication.
5. General: Comply with company policies, promote good practices, perform additional duties as required.
