Job summary

BrewDog Scotland is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to ensure the smooth operation of all plant and equipment within the facility. You will maintain, troubleshoot and repair machinery to maximise safety, production efficiency and uptime.

Responsibilities include preventive and reactive maintenance, compliance with HSEQ procedures, interpreting technical drawings, maintaining records and coordinating with engineering and production teams. You may also provide support at Hop Hub or other sites.

Qualifications

• Maintenance knowledge of preventive and reactive maintenance.
• Ability to read technical drawings and documentation.
• Strong understanding of health, safety and environmental policies.

• Compliance and Safety: follow HSEQ procedures and conduct risk assessments.
• Technical Support: assist with installation, commissioning, and modification of equipment.
• Documentation and Reporting: keep accurate maintenance records and reports.
• Collaboration and Communication: work with engineering and production teams; ensure detailed handbacks.
• Training and Development: participate in training to meet legislation and enhance skills.
• Flexibility: support operations at Hop Hub or other sites as required.
• Stand in for Maintenance Delivery Manager as required.

About The Role

Job Purpose

The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for thesmooth operation of all plant and equipment within the facility. You willmaintain, troubleshoot and repair machinery, systems and equipment to maintainsafety functionality, maximise production efficiency, minimise downtime whilstfollowing site HSEQ standards and guidelines.

Key Result Area / Principal Duties & Responsibilities

• Maintenance Activities Perform preventive and reactive maintenance troubleshooting as required to resolve automation, electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic issues on site machinery and equipment as determined by the Maintenance Delivery Manager.
• Compliance and Safety Ensure all work adheres to the sites HSEQ procedures, policies and standards. Conduct task risk assessments and follow health, safety, and environmental policies.
• Technical Support Assist with the installation, commissioning, and modification of equipment. Interpret technical drawings and documentation for troubleshooting and repairs.
• Documentation and Reporting Maintain accurate maintenance records and provide reports to the Maintenance Delivery Manager.
• Collaboration and Communication Attend safety, production and team meetings as required. Work and communicate closely with other engineering teams and the production teams to ensure efficient operations. Ensure detailed hand backs and handovers are completed for every task and end of shift.
• Training and Development Participate in training identified by the business to meet legislation, enhance skills and knowledge.
