Job Description:

The Role

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining all designated GFX Equipment to Harbour Acceptance Trial (HAT) standards, including adherence to Unit Maintenance Management System (UMMS) and Non-UMMS maintenance procedures.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Configure GFX equipment and infrastructure according to RFMS to meet trial requirements.
  • Maintain all assigned GFX equipment following UMMS, BRs, JSPs, and OEM handouts.
  • Ensure GFX is safe, maintained, available, and configured for daily trials on RFMS.
  • Collaborate with Combat Systems Engineers, Teams, and Customers to provide support, SME advice, and maintain presence during trials.
  • Fault-finding, defect rectification, reconfiguration, and supporting monthly System Operator Checks.
  • Manage, investigate, and register GFX defects, update defect records regularly, and inform the Operations Team.

This is a full-time, 37-hour role, on-site at our Portsmouth location.
