Overview

Maintenance Engineer (CNC Machines) – Denham. £40,000 to £42,000 + Overtime | Days | Early Finish Friday. An established British engineering firm is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join its busy and supportive Machine Shop team. This company operates at the forefront of aerospace manufacturing, with products used globally to protect lives in critical situations.

Responsibilities
  • Carrying out preventative maintenance in line with schedules and manufacturer specifications
  • Replacing worn components, wiring and parts as required
  • Diagnosing and repairing faults on CNC machinery (including 4 & 5 axis machining centres and CNC turning machines)
  • Coordinating with external suppliers for specialist repairs
  • Operating forklifts and lifting equipment to move materials and components
Person Specification / Qualifications
  • IEE 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification
  • Forklift licence
  • Skilled in the use of hand tools and electrical testers
  • Experience maintaining CNC machine tools within a manufacturing setting
  • GCSE Grade C/4 or above (or equivalent) in Maths and English
  • Strong manual dexterity and problem-solving ability
