We are on the lookout for a skilled and passionate maintenance Engineer to join our growing team! If you're someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, loves problem-solving, and is dedicated to ensuring optimal operational efficiency, we want to hear from you.

Service and maintain our parcel and letter sorting machinery, ensuring they are fit for purpose and meeting our operational needs. From fault finding and fixing issues as they arise to regular planned maintenance - this role covers it all.

Deliver meaningful work that makes a real difference to our people and New Zealand. We are seeking expressions of interests from mechanical, electrical or maintenance engineers. If you are looking to further develop your electrical skills and knowledge as well as gain qualifications in the electrical field then this is a great opportunity for you. You'll receive full training and support to deliver your best work too.

Mōu - About you
As either an experienced maintenance engineer, electrician, or service technician, you'll enjoy fault finding and be a practical problem solver who is calm and logical under pressure, ensuring any breakdowns get back on track as smoothly and efficiently as possible. You'll need a positive and flexible attitude and enjoy playing an important role in delivering what our customers care about.

Alongside the above, you'll couple this with;

  • Either New Zealand Electrical Registration or Electrical Service Technician Registration with papers A & B OR
  • A Mechanical Engineering qualification
  • 2 years minimum as an electrical/mechanical technician
  • Control system or programming experience is desirable

All our technicians must be prepared to work a rotational roster, which will include a mix of day, afternoon and night shifts, including a weekend day. Your roster will be provided to you in advance once shifts are finalised.
