Maintenance Engineer, Baggage Handling Systems

Excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer with an electro-mechanical background to join a market-leading manufacturer of baggage handling systems.

Shift Role: 12-hour shifts, days and nights. Two weeks of days, followed by a "float week" and two weeks of nights. Total of 14 shifts per month.

Salary: £49,000 + overtime

Benefits: Full product training, employee pension contributions matched to 8%, holidays, private medical cover, extra payments for working bank holidays, free parking.

This market leader seeks to recruit a technically motivated and customer-focused Maintenance Engineer responsible for the service, installation, and breakdown repair of sophisticated baggage handling systems.

Your Background – Maintenance Engineer, Baggage Handling Systems

To succeed in this role, you should demonstrate the following skills or experience:

• A competent background in service or maintenance engineering within high-value capital equipment environments.
• Applications are encouraged from engineers with backgrounds in imaging, printing, pre-press, semi-conductor, manufacturing, maintenance, PLCs, electronics, electro-mechanical systems, laboratory, medical, pharmaceutical sectors, or ex-forces engineers (medical, dental, weapons systems, radar, REME electronics).
• An engineering, electrical, or electronics qualification is essential.

Applicants from a broad range of sectors are welcome, as full product training will be provided.
