Maintenance Engineer 6518

Full time, permanent role. Day shift hours, early finish on a Friday

Purpose

To maintain all company plant and equipment in a good and safe working order and ensuring compliance with best practice.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Reporting to Manufacturing Engineer,
  • To keep all equipment (e.g. Manufacturing or Plant) compliant with legal requirements and to liaise with insurance inspectors as appropriate.
  • To keep updated all registers and list pertaining to the aforementioned equipment and plant.
  • To ensure testing of the fire alarms and emergency lighting at appropriate times.
  • To be compliant with all Health and Safety, to be aware of company policy and procedures.
  • To be compliant with the environmental policy and awareness of the company procedures regarding emergency preparedness and response.
  • Investigate & risks/Issues with manufacturing challenges with equipment put on long term & short plans in place.
  • Planned and scheduled repairs to be organised with Logistic Manager & Chief Maintenance Engineer, Logistics manager to agree time frame, Report when repair has been finished to Logistics & Chief Maintenance Engineer.
  • KPI update and reported as agreed in BIC (best in class) Meeting.
  • Help with Development projects with Development Team – e.g. Oil systems, delivery of oil on to part, Roller boxes etc…
  • As supervisor of staff, your staff must have planned workload in place for day to day duties
  • Appraisal with your staff. Reported through the appraisal procedure.

  • PPM and breakdown maintenance reports.
