Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off (7-7 days and nights)

Are you a Maintenance Engineer with Electrical or Mechanical Skills? Do you have experience from heavy industrial backgrounds, FMCG, Water, Utilities, Ex Forces, or similar looking for a maintenance role?

Are you willing to work a shift-based position, 4 on/off, days & nights?

On offer is a permanent Maintenance Engineer role at a multibillion turnover FMCG manufacturing plant, with excellent benefits, job security, and opportunities for advancement into senior and management roles.

The role involves planned and reactive maintenance, fault diagnosis in a fast-paced environment, working on high-spec automated machinery for consumer goods.

We welcome applications from Mechanical and Electrical Maintenance Engineers who are comfortable with the 4on 4off shift pattern and live within commuting distance to Preston.

The Role

• Full-time permanent position with a large FMCG manufacturer.
• Fault diagnosis, planned and reactive maintenance on Mechanical & automated machinery.
• Contributing to continuous improvement of the plant.

The Person

• Qualification: NVQ 3 / C&G level 3 or Apprentice-trained Mechanical / Electrical Engineer.
• Experience in a maintenance engineer role, including fault diagnosis.
• PLC experience is beneficial.
• Willing to work shifts/nights (2 days - 2 nights - 4 off) and hold a UK driving license.
