Maintenance Engineer (4 on 4 off)

Our client is a leading manufacturer within the food industry. They are seeking an experienced Multi Skilled Engineer to work a 4 on 4 off shift pattern. The successful candidate must have experience in manufacturing, preferably within a Food Manufacturing environment. This family-owned company aims to become the largest supplier of fresh produce in the South West.

Role & Responsibilities:

• PPM, breakdown cover, fault-finding, repairs on equipment and production lines
• Maintaining modern process equipment
• Working on packaging machinery
• Root cause analysis, continuous improvement, operational efficiencies
• Project work including new plant and equipment installation

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• Experience as a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer in manufacturing, with process understanding
• Knowledge of Health and Safety, food safety practices
• Experience in food manufacturing or FMCG environments preferred
• Multi-skilled with electrical bias preferred
• PLC diagnostics and experience with Bosch Indra Drive, Allen Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi
