Job summary

Paralloy is seeking an experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to support the Maintenance Supervisor in ensuring electrical and mechanical compliance, installing and maintaining systems, and efficiently managing breakdowns and planned work on site.

The role involves maintaining plant controls, working with PLC systems, and liaising with contractors and stakeholders to ensure safety and compliance across the site.

Qualifications

• Recognised apprenticeship in mechanical or electrical maintenance.
• Knowledge of plant controls and PLC/control systems preferred.
• Ability to fault find mechanical faults; computer literate with good interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Work safely throughout all activities in line with Paralloy safety standards; carry out risk assessments prior to tasks.
• Ensure applicable compliance is maintained.
• Respond to electrical and mechanical breakdowns and manage planned and reactive work.
• Carry out electrical installation work as required.
• Use data and systems to manage the site’s electrical and control systems.
• Liaise with and assist in managing third party contractors.
• Engage with stakeholders at all levels.

We are looking for an experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team to support the Maintenance Supervisor in ensuring both electrical and Mechanical compliance. This will include the carrying out of installation and maintaining of systems, along with ensuring that breakdowns and planned activities are managed effectively.

• Working safely throughout all activities in line with Paralloys safety standards and procedures, ensuring a full Risk Assessment is carried out prior to undertaking any task..
• Ensuring applicable compliance is maintained.
• Responding to Electrical and Mechanical breakdowns & faults and managing planned & reactive work in a timely and logical manner.
• Carry out electrical installation work as required.
• Using appropriate data and systems to manage the site’s electrical & control systems.
• Liaise with and assist in the managing of third party contractors.
• Liaise and engage with stakeholders at all levels.

Essential Skills And Attributes

• Recognised apprenticeship within a Mechancial or Electrical maintenance.
• Knowledge of plant control and the use of PLC and control systems is preferred.
• Ability to fault find mechanical.
• Enthusiastic and computer literate, with good interpersonal skills along with the ability to work as part of a team or unsupervised.
