Overview

Are you a Maintenance Engineer looking for a permanent full-time role based in North Yorkshire? We have an exciting opportunity to join a successful and well-established manufacturer.

In this role, you will focus on ensuring the safe and efficient operation of machinery and equipment, working a 3 shift rotation (mornings, afternoons, nights) to lead preventative maintenance, mechanical and electrical fault-finding, and troubleshooting. You'll be involved in diagnosing and resolving equipment breakdowns across conveyors, packers, and other manufacturing equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Lead preventative maintenance and perform mechanical and electrical fault-finding and troubleshooting.
  • Diagnose and resolve equipment breakdowns across conveyors, packers, and other manufacturing equipment.
Qualifications
  • Completed an HNC within engineering maintenance (Electrical, Mechanical, Multiskilled Engineering) or apprentice trained, or hold equivalent experience.
  • Experience in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Knowledge of reactive and proactive maintenance practices.
