We are looking to recruit a number of Maintenance Engineers(on 12 month fixed term contracts),to provide effective maintenance within operations ensuring that all plant and equipment is maintained in accordance with agreed planned/preventative maintenance schedules and safe methods of work.
These roles will be based at our Pocklington Global Plant, at the end of which if there are to be any permanent opportunities they would be at the new plant in Howden.

Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager, the main purpose of the role will be:
The successful candidate should be highly organized with a proactive mindset and the ability to work unsupervised and on own initiative. With the requirements being:
• Qualified to minimum NVQ Level 3.
• IPAF 3B license desirable.
• Competence in both Mechanical and Electrical disciplines
• Basic welding and fabrication skills would be advantageous.
• Experience gained within a similar production environment.
• Knowledge and understanding relay logic and PLC fault finding.
• Previous experience of working with fluid-transfer pumps such as centrifugal and progressing cavity is desirable.
• Understanding and experience of LOTO, PUWER and LOLER Regulations.
• Experience of COMAH (Control of Major Accident Hazards) Regulations is highly desirable.
• Able to produce, read and interpret electrical schematics, P&ID’s and engineering drawings.
• Good problem solving skills, able to diagnose and correct faults.
• Good standard of IT literacy and a working knowledge of CMMS systems.
• Able to work changing, rotating shift patterns as and when required to match the seasonal demand.
