Job description

Maintenance Engineer
Worcester
£42,500 34 days holiday
Monday – Friday Double Days (6am-2pm one week, 2pm-10pm week after rotating) 37.5 hours on the tools

The Company:
This is a great opportunity to work for a well-established company in the Worcester area. They have recently invested millions of pounds into new state-of-the-art machinery and are doing exceptionally well with a full order book for years to come. This role will involve training and the chance to become multi-skilled. Experience with hydraulics is essential for this mechanical maintenance engineer position. Welding experience is also advantageous.

Experience Required:

  • At least 3 years working as a mechanically biased or electrically biased maintenance engineer
  • Level 3 qualification preferred but relevant experience will be considered
  • Experience with hydraulics, including reading hydraulic drawings
  • Experience with gearboxes, belts, chains, pulleys, etc.
  • Open to maintenance engineers from any background: Food, FMCG, Packaging, Recycling, Heavy Industry, Metal Processing, Plastics, Automotive, Building Products, Ex-forces, etc.
