Qualifications

Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias / PLC / SCADA / HMI / Manufacturing)

Location: Witney, Oxford – Rotating Shift

Shift Details:

• Days – Monday to Thursday 06:00 to 16:30, Friday 06:00 to 12:00
• Back Shift – Monday to Thursday 16:45 to 04:45

We are seeking a Maintenance Engineer on a rotating shift for a successful, market-leading manufacturer offering excellent benefits. This role provides an exciting opportunity to work on production and facilities equipment, with the company investing heavily in new projects and engineering challenges.

The ideal candidate will be electrically biased, with knowledge of PLC, SCADA, and/or HMI, and experience working in an automated manufacturing environment.

The primary focus will be on maintaining the new robotic wall line, involving both scheduled and reactive maintenance, as well as project work for continuous improvement. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will be a key member of a small team, capable of influencing change and advancing company initiatives.

Role Responsibilities:

• PPM and reactive maintenance on all production machinery and facilities
• Update and maintain factory systems
• Work in compliance with health and safety regulations
• Participate in continuous improvement projects
• Assist in setting maintenance budgets and CAPEX justifications

Candidate Requirements:

• Experience in maintenance within an automated manufacturing environment
• Electrical bias with experience in PLC, SCADA, and/or HMI systems
• Experience with industrial/factory systems is preferred
