AMH Material Handling are expanding, and we’re looking for Maintenance Engineers to join our brand-new, high-tech distribution centre in Aylesford. With a competitive £55,000 salary (including shift allowance), excellent benefits, and ongoing training, this is a fantastic opportunity to develop your career within one of the UK’s leading material handling specialists.

As a Maintenance Engineer, you’ll be based full-time on-site at a newly built Tesco automated distribution centre, working 12-hour shifts on a 24/7 rota. You'll be at the heart of a forward-thinking, collaborative team, working with some of the most advanced automation technology in the industry.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance on automated equipment & AMR system
  • Logging and managing tasks using a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
  • Diagnosing faults and identifying spare parts to minimise downtime
  • Working closely with the on-site Tesco operations team to maintain high standards
  • Playing a proactive role in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance throughput and efficiency

What We’re Looking For

  • Level 3 Apprenticeship trained or equivalent in Engineering (e.g. ONC/HNC, NVQ Level 3) – Electrical bias preferred
  • A solid understanding of maintenance best practices – mechanical and electrical
  • The ability to work both independently and within a team
  • A positive attitude with a willingness to learn new systems and processes
  • Strong communication skills – you’ll be working closely with a major customer on-site
