Job description

Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager and working a continental shift, you will be required to work as an integral part of the team and demonstrate a good hands-on approach.

Key tasks & Activities
  1. Day-to-day maintenance of all plant equipment on site
  2. Maintaining PPM schedules, work procedures, and involvement in continuous improvement activities
  3. Reactive and pro-active maintenance
  4. Utilising our Enterprise Resource Software (SAP) to keep up-to-date machine work history, spare parts consumption, and PPM planning
  5. Liaising with Team Leaders and Management to effectively organise reactive/pro-active and PPM schedules to cause minimal disruption to site operations
Who we are looking for…
  • Electrically biased with strong Mechanical skills or;
  • Mechanical biased with electrical skills (qualifications)
  • Good logical thought process regarding fault diagnosis and rectification
  • Knowledge of Siemens PLCs and Inverter drives would be advantageous
  • Experience with Blow Moulding and Packaging machines would be advantageous
  • Good understanding of Health & Safety
  • Good communication, flexibility, and reliability are essential for this position
