Title: Maintenance Engineer
Location: Birmingham
Salary: Competitive + Bonus + Benefits
Hours: 37 hours/week (3-shift rotation: 6-2, 2-10, 10-6)

The Role:
  • Maintain electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, robotic, and material handling systems
  • Perform preventative and reactive maintenance, fault finding, and repairs
  • Support continuous improvement and efficiency initiatives
  • Ensure full compliance with HSE and LOTO procedures
  • Carry out safety checks and maintain documentation
  • Recommend process/equipment improvements to enhance performance
  • Participate in shift-based cover and emergency call-outs as required
About You:
  • Previous experience in high-volume manufacturing (e.g. Automotive or Food)
  • Strong background in electrical/mechanical engineering
  • Robotics experience essential (e.g. KUKA, Fanuc)
  • Familiar with ISO9001 and IATF16949 quality standards
  • Excellent fault-finding skills and a proactive, team-oriented mindset
