Qualifications

Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias)

Permanent Role

Wellingborough

Monday - Friday - Rotating shift Pattern (6 - 2 / 2 - 10 / 10 - 6)

£40,000 - £45,000 DOE

We are looking for an experienced maintenance engineer (electrical bias) to join our client based in Wellingborough. Working within the maintenance department reporting to the engineering manager, the maintenance engineer is required to work on a rotating shift pattern to cover the operation which runs 24/7. The maintenance engineer will be responsible for all aspects of preventative maintenance, breakdown activities and building & facilities management. The maintenance engineer will also assist with engineering projects, carry our installation work and deal with the commissioning and de-commissioning of equipment as and when required.

The main duties of this role will be the following:

• Maintaining the Site Electrical infrastructure, recommending improvements and manage site adherence to Electrical regulations.


• To carry out both Reactive and Planned Maintenance work


• Work to improve maintenance systems and procedures by continuous improvements


• Report and capture all works on site internal systems ensure site KPI targets are achieved.


• To participate in site improvements, modifications, and capital investment project.


• Deal with contractors on site and ensure work is carried out to the required levels.


• Adhere to site safety & compliance procedures while maintaining productivity and efficiency.

To be considered for this role applicants are required to have the following experience

• At least 5 years experience working as an electrical maintenance engineer


• Qualified to NVQ or City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Engineering


• Worked with automation


• Experience of working with Sensors, Gauges and Indicators


• Be computer and IT literate


• Be self motivated, be able to prioritise and be able to work on their own or as part of a team.


• Be able to work under pressure
