The Maintenance Engineer vacancy is with a market-leading PLC-listed manufacturing business, based in Nostell, Wakefield, at a BRAND NEW Factory. The position offers excellent opportunities for training and career development.

  • Hours of work – Days and Nights, 4 on 4 off – 6am to 6pm (Currently working Monday – Friday Days during factory commissioning)

Main Duties & Responsibilities of Maintenance Engineer include:

  • Providing plant-wide maintenance, departmental support, and repairs to ensure production targets are met – maintaining factory manufacturing machinery
  • Monitoring and supporting machine set-up & changeovers to ensure product quality standards are met and changeovers are efficient

Experience and Qualifications Required for Maintenance Engineer:

  • Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship & Qualification or equivalent, e.g., NVQ, City and Guilds, ONC, BTEC or above – Mechanical or Electrical
  • High level of Health & Safety awareness
  • Ability to fault find, repair, and provide solutions to problems

The position may suit Mechanical Maintenance Engineers, Electrical Maintenance Engineers, Maintenance Fitters, Maintenance Electricians, or Multi-skilled Engineers.
