Maintenance Engineer, £49107, Derby, Shifts: Monday - Friday (Early, lates, nights)

If you are interested in becoming a truly multiskilled maintenance engineer, with fantastic electrical, mechanical, and fluid power training, interested in learning how to fault find, plug in, and interrogate PLC systems, and interested in working within automation maintaining hundreds of robots, then we have the perfect role for you.

About the role

As a maintenance engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining a variety of PLC controlled automated production machinery, which can include conveyors, hydraulic presses, robotics, plastic injection moulding, and other niche equipment specific to the site and industry.

Other responsibilities will include:

  1. Planned preventive maintenance
  2. Reacting to breakdowns
  3. Both mechanical and electrical fault finding
  4. Working with fluid power systems
  5. Project, upgrade, and continuous improvement

About you
