Job summary

British Offsite is seeking a Maintenance Engineer responsible for maintaining production processes and machinery. Job description

A little bit about the role...

An exciting opportunity has become available at British Offsite. We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer who will be responsible for maintaining, managing, and developing manufacturing processes, ensuring that production lines are safe, effective, and efficient.
The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
  • Accurate creation and upkeep of a detailed PPM schedule, including all mechanical and electrical machinery
  • Effectively carry out daily maintenance; this will include planned (PPM) and reactive maintenance, keeping accurate maintenance logs and records
  • Carrying out work to the highest possible standards in a clean and orderly manner across the whole of the site
  • Assisting in Project Delivery and Improvement projects
  • Detailed collation of data and the writing of reports to present opportunities to the Senior Management Team
  • Efficiently performing maintenance on all machinery and equipment and ensuring it complies with Health and Safety regulations and that all maintenance is carried out using Safe Systems of Work
  • Effectively carrying out maintenance and supporting OEMs in all areas of the business
  • Liaising effectively with and supervising all external maintenance contractors and ensuring that they follow Health and Safety standards
  • Adherence to H&S policy, procedures, and targets
  • Any other duties as commensurate with the post
