Position: Maintenance Engineer

Salary: £45,000 - £47,000

Shift: Panama Days and Nights

Location: Thorndon, Suffolk

We are recruiting two maintenance engineers for an FMCG manufacturing company to join their engineering department in a busy, high-speed, state-of-the-art factory. The successful maintenance engineers will be joining a company currently undergoing a period of expansion.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPMs)
• Attend to breakdowns and perform timely diagnostics and repairs
• Participate in engineering projects such as continuous improvement (CI) and root cause analysis (RCA) initiatives

Qualifications and Skills

• Mechanical or Electrical bias
• Minimum Level 3 engineering qualification
• Industrial background
• Ability to carry out planned preventative maintenance effectively
• Able to quickly diagnose and resolve breakdowns under pressure
