Maintenance Engineer

We are working exclusively with a leading international manufacturer of precision-engineered components, supplying into highly regulated sectors including petrochemical, power generation, and renewables.

The Role

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of plant and equipment across the site.

You will be responsible for:

  • Responding swiftly to both planned and reactive maintenance tasks.
  • Diagnosing and resolving faults across electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Carrying out electrical installation work where required.
  • Using data and systems to manage site electrical and control systems.
  • Liaising with contractors, stakeholders, and internal teams to maintain smooth operations.
  • Working safely at all times, following risk assessments and HSE procedures.
Skills & Experience Required
  • Time-served apprenticeship in Mechanical or Electrical Maintenance (or equivalent).
  • Strong fault-finding ability across both mechanical and electrical disciplines.
  • Knowledge of plant control systems, including PLCs (advantageous).
  • Computer literate with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communicator, able to work independently and as part of a team.
