Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer
Swadlincote
Shifts: 4 on 5 off then 5 on 4 off (Days & Nights)
Salary: £46,500 OT Benefits

I’m currently working with a leading manufacturing business based in the Swadlincote area, looking to add a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to their engineering team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established site with a strong commitment to safety, performance, and development.

You'll be responsible for keeping production machinery running efficiently through planned and reactive maintenance, as well as contributing to ongoing improvement projects across the site.

Day-to-day responsibilities:

  • Electrical and mechanical maintenance on a range of automated equipment

  • Fault-finding on 24v to 415v circuits, pneumatics, and hydraulics

  • Supporting production teams to maintain OEE and product quality

  • Participating in engineering projects and continuous improvement initiatives

  • Maintaining a strong health & safety culture

The ideal candidate:

  • Time-served multi-skilled engineer with an electrical bias

  • ONC or equivalent in engineering (NVQ, City & Guilds, HNC/HND)

  • Will take a engineer fresh out of their apprenticeship
  • Comfortable working with electrical and pneumatic schematics

  • Experienced in a fast-paced manufacturing or industrial setting
