Job summary

Givaudan is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to manage maintenance activities and provide technical support in Swadlincote. Ideal candidates will have a Level 3 Diploma in Engineering Maintenance, extensive experience in mechanical and electrical systems, and be ready to contribute to a culture of teamwork and safety.

You will:

Maintain a CMMS planned preventative maintenance system, SAP

Manage routine, preventative and planned maintenance of the plant and equipment.

Work with contractors on projects and maintaining equipment

Provide technical support/input to projects

Respond to emergency breakdowns including finding and fixing faults

Perform modifications and installations

Provide on call cover and work overtime when requested

You have:

Served a recognised Engineering Apprenticeship in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

5+ years experience in a similar role

Level 3 (NVQ) Diploma in Engineering Maintenance or equivalent qualification

Some knowledge of electrical systems including control systems or mechanical systems if electrically qualified

Mechanical/Electrical repairs and fault finding skills

Experience of welding and fabrication

Be conversant with Health and Safety requirements and to perform tasks under current legislation

Use hand power tools
