Overview

A Maintenance Engineer position has become available within a business that supplies products into sectors such as marine, defence, agricultural, and general engineering. The business offers a full machining service, ISO 9001 and DNV approved, with rapid prototyping and reverse engineering capabilities, supplying technically challenging cast components across Europe.

Responsibilities

• Perform general repairs and ongoing servicing of machinery on-site.
• Diagnose and resolve faults as needed.
• Basic welding and fabrication (these skills can be further developed).
• Implement preventive and corrective maintenance.
• React promptly to any machine breakdowns, solving problems efficiently.
• Monitor and maintain maintenance tools, stores, and equipment.
