- Be responsible for the breakdown and repair of manufacturing equipment across both automated and manual production lines.
- Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) activities as directed.
- Ensure all equipment on site is safe and compliant with current Health & Safety legislation.
- Maintain accurate records of breakdowns, maintenance activities, and spare parts usage.
- Reorder stock and update inventory records as needed.
How You Will Do It
- Apply your solid engineering fault-finding and maintenance background to resolve issues efficiently.
- Read and interpret electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic drawings to diagnose and repair faults.
- Use your good IT skills to log maintenance activities and manage documentation.
- Stay calm and focused under pressure, especially in time-critical situations.
- Work independently with minimal supervision, while also collaborating effectively with others.
- Operate across a rotating shift pattern: 6am–2pm, 2pm–10pm, and 10pm–6am.
What We Look For
- Time-served maintenance engineer with an electrical bias (17th/18th Edition qualified).
- Experience with control systems and automation.
- Highly self-motivated and capable of planning their own workload to meet business needs.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of work and safety.
- Ability to thrive in a team environment and communicates effectively.
