As a vibrant, fast-paced food manufacturer, we employ around 13,600 colleagues across 16 manufacturing units and 17 distribution depots. Our extensive direct-to-store (DTS) distribution network, comprising 17 depots nationwide, allows us to make over 10,400 daily deliveries of our own chilled and frozen produce, as well as third-party products.

At our Spalding site, which has around 540 colleagues, we produce coleslaw, potato salad, salad bar bulk products (2kg), pasta salads, and couscous/grains for major UK retailers including Morrisons, Co-op, Asda, Aldi, Sainsbury's, Nando's, and Pizza Hut. The site features a restaurant with hot food available to all colleagues.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will manage day-to-day maintenance tasks and site repairs to help operations achieve maximum productivity.

Shift: 3's & 2's (06:00 - 18:00)

• Perform fault finding, planned, and preventative maintenance on plant and equipment to ensure maximum reliability and performance.
• Identify and troubleshoot issues, establishing root cause fixes.
• Maintain communication with the operations team regarding engineering activities and schedules.
• Respond to internal customer needs to maximize production uptime according to priorities.
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards and controls.
• Record stock removed from engineering stores for accurate stock control.
• Complete documentation accurately and keep it audit-ready.
• Identify opportunities for improvements in health, safety, and operational efficiency.
